Why does Tiamut join the Uni-Mind?
The recipient of all that power has their abilities amplified to levels capable of affecting immensely powerful beings such as Celestials about to be born, however this is only the case due to Tiamut himself joining the Uni-Mind to give it enough power to kill him.
Sersi then uses the remaining Uni-Mind juice to turn Sprite into a human. Sersi reveals that Tiamut joined their Uni-Mind as the Celestial emerged, giving her the final burst of power needed to save the world.
TV Series. Tiamut the Communicator was a Celestial whose seed was planted within Earth. His growth was fueled by the energy of humans living on the world and shepherded by the Eternals.
Tiamut, better known as the Dreaming Celestial, was a fabled Celestial who was put to sleep and sealed under the Diablo Mountains by his fellow Celestials of the Earth's Second Host. For roughly 20,000 years, he slumbered and his armor became black, until he was awoken in modern times, golden once more.
Tiamut the Communicator is also known as The Dreaming Celestial, and his role is to alert the Fulcrum of the findings of the Celestials during planetary examinations and send a signal to the Horde to collect the planet's aggregate life force.
The Eternals manage to stop the Emergence through Phastos' device known as the Uni-Mind. This allows the Eternals to combine their separate amounts of cosmic energy - which give them their endless lifespans - to combine together and give one of them enough power to stop Tiamut from emerging.
She is sometimes called "Her Dark Majesty" or simply "Dark Queen". Tiamat is most concerned with spreading evil, defeating good, and propagating chromatic dragons.
Ultimately, their role in killing Tiamut was only the catalyst for why he returned to Earth. Being that he has seen billions of planets live and die, his concept of value is dangerously minuscule when it comes to them. Although Tiamut will not emerge, Arishem knows that Earth's death was always a part of the plan.
