Joey TV Receivers
They are small boxes that connect to your Hopper DVR and provide one seamless experience throughout the house. Start watching a program in one room, pause it, and resume it in another room with a Joey. You'll need one Joey for each additional TV.

The only difference between this and a wired Joey, is the speed the Guide works. On the Hopper 3 and other wired Joey, the Guide will page the stations as fast as I scroll. On the Wireless, there is a slight delay, but it works. The picture is great, no wires (except for a power supply and the HDMI cable).
Use your remote control to highlight the Hopper that you would like to link to your Joey. Then, press SELECT. Once connected, a “Linked” icon will appear next to the Hopper that you selected. If you only have one Hopper, you will not see these screens.
The Wireless Joey does require a DISH Hopper Wireless Access Point. This is essentially a wireless router configured to exclusively connect with up to three Wireless Joeys. It creates a secure, private network for the (up to) 3 Wireless Joeys to connect to using the 802.11ac protocol.
